In e-Mission: Hurricane Alert, student teams become elite meteorology and emergency response units tasked with tracking a rapidly developing hurricane. Using real-world tools like the Cone of Uncertainty, radar data, and storm tracking charts, students must analyze the storm's projected path, predict potential landfall zones, and assess the damage it could unleash on homes, hospitals, and infrastructure.

Will the storms weaken before landfall or will any of them explode into  Category 5 monsters? Will evacuation zones be enough to save lives? The clock is ticking—and your decisions matter.

This dynamic, STEM-powered mission blends critical thinking, teamwork, and fast-paced problem-solving. Students must communicate clearly, calculate risk, and advise emergency officials in real time as the storm evolves.
