Application Process

The e-Mission™ headquarters located at the Challenger Learning Center® at Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, WV, requests applications from 4-8 teams for an upcoming e-Mission to help the astronauts on board Space Station Alpha during an intense solar storm.

The application process will demonstrate a team's interest and skills. e-Mission headquarters is looking for applications that show effort, teamwork, and creativity. Carefully follow all the steps.

To do a good job on the application process, you'll need teamwork. You'll need to build some team spirit. Read all the steps of the process before beginning.

The e-Mission headquarters staff will conduct a formal evaluation of your application. You will be contacted regarding the quality of your work, and you will receive a letter announcing whether or not your team has been accepted for our upcoming mission. Once accepted, you can proceed to the next phase of the project.

  • One resume from each member of the team.
  • (Optional) A mission patch, a team motto, theme song, or melody.
